You can't forget unless you forgive

You can't move on unless you first let go

I'm sorry

I forgave you before you apologized

I thought I was doing some great feat

But I never apologized to you

Or asked for your forgiveness

And I'm sorry

If I could do it all over again, I would do it all differently

And If I could take it all back and start over, I would

And even though life has moved on

It still hurts

I still hurt

And I'm sorry

There is no cure for stupidity.

Thank God!

Because I would never have learned this lesson otherwise.

But even still,

I'm sorry.
